Maltese Music
Now let's make it clear. I am not an expert on Maltese music,
neither traditional nor the contemporary sort. However I appreciate
talent, more so when it is of Maltese origin. In July 2004, I
had the opportunity of listening to the music of Mr
Walter Micallef and a group of local musicians. It was an
enjoyable evening, and since Mr. Micallef not only is an established
song writer, but also happens to be striving to promote Maltese
music, I decided to support him and other artists through these
pages. If you haven't done so already, I suggest you buy his first
CD. Not only the music is good, but doing so will help publish
his other songs on CD as well. Do not forget the recommended Maltese
