What are the minimum computer system specification required to run the Maltese Sign Language Dictionary software?

Further to the above hardware specifications, you must be have installed Microsoft's DAO 3.6 and MDAC 2.1 database connectivty components.
My computer system lacks the necessary database connectivity components. Why is this? Where can I find them?
Microsoft's DAO 3.6 and MDAC 2.1 database connectivty components come with and are part of Windows 98 Second Edition and above operating systems. These components are also automatically installed by MS Access 2000 and MS SQL Server 2000 software.
If these components and related software libraries are not available on your computer you may find an installation copy within the directory named 'SUPPORT' on the Maltese Sign Language Dictionary distribtion CD.

I wish to use an external video player, instead of the internal one provided within the Maltese Sign Language Dictionary software. Is this possible?
If you wish to use an external multimedia viewer, you can do so by specifying the relevant path and executable file within the Setup screen available through the File|Setup menu option, on the Main Screen. You may also wish to upgrade to MS Media Player 9, which is also available within the directory named 'SUPPORT' on the Maltese Sign Language Dictionary distribtion CD.

I tried viewing the on-screen version of the printed publication, but it does not seem to work. What is wrong?
The on-screen version of the printed publication is in Portable Document Format (PDF) format. In order to view any PDF document you need the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader software. Version 5 of the Acrobat Reader software is available within the directory named 'SUPPORT' on the Maltese Sign Language Dictionary distribtion CD.

Within the Maltese text, letters specific to the Maltese Alphabet appear as gibberish. How can I fix this?
The 'Malta' font used within the Maltese Sign Language Dictionary software is available within the directory named 'SUPPORT' on the Maltese Sign Language Dictionary distribtion CD. You must install this font in order for the Maltese text to be displayed properly.
