Our Games
These are games I created or contributed to. Since I enjoy experimentation and learning to use new tools, I used many development tools, graphics packages and music/audio software tools in developing the games listed here. I hope you like the results.

The Great Siege of Malta, 1565 (1Mb)

This is a cute resource management / arcade game I am working on in my spare time. The final product will be released as freeware, so I suggest you visit here often or subscribe to the mailinglist, so that you can get a copy. ( downloads)
Design Notes: Quite simply, it is a light hearted re-enactment of the 1565 siege, carried out by the Turks in Malta, against the Order of the Knights of St. John and the Maltese. Bits of history and educational material are interspersed amongst the action, but ultimately, the ultimate purpose is for the player to have fun.
Grand Master vs Knight (3.5Mb)

This is a two player battle arena. The Grand Master, is sort of a mage, with magical weapons. The Knight must resort to more rudimentary, but no less effective tools. The user interface is quite polished. In the future I might be adding new levels/arenas with more interactive scenery and enemy AI. ( downloads)
Snakes and Ladders (1.8Mb)
A snakes and ladders game built around a quiz. Packaged question
set relates to Shakespear's works, general knowledge and video games.
Keyboard shortcuts are also available so that players need not depend
on using the mouse pointer.
The following options are available. 1: Enter player name,
F1: Help F4, F2: Credits, F3: New Game, F4:
Quit.
When playing, letters A,B and C select the different
options. Pressing the Spacebar moves on to the next player's
turn.
When you register you will also get the easy-to-use quiz manager
tool to create your own quizzes!
This game can also be customised for educational use. (

Maniac Mansion Deluxe (11Mb)

There are weird people living in Maniac Mansion: Dr. Fred, a "retired" physician turned mad scientist; Nurse Edna, a former health care professional whose hobbies would make a sailor blush; Weird Ed, a teenage commando with a hamster fetish; and then there's Dead Cousin Ted, and the Tentacle, and somebody - or something - else... And what's a sweet young cheerleader named Sandy doing in Dr. Fred's basement?
Your goal is to direct a team of three local college students (including Sandy's boyfriend Dave) through the mansion to rescue Sandy. As you explore, you'll meet all the strange inhabitants of the mansion, and you'll discover Dr. Fred's ambition to control the world - one teenage at a time.
You'll find that each of the seven teenagers you can choose from has special skills, talents, and weaknesses. And each of the crazy occupants of the mansion has goals and desires that can help or hinder your team, depending on how you handle them. The story - and your approach to rescuing Sandy - will be different depending on which kids you choose and how you interact with the people and things inside the mansion itself.
Each of the possible stories in Maniac Mansion is really a large,
complex puzzle made up of scores of smaller puzzles. From time to
time, movie-like "cut-scenes" reveal clues about the story
and what's going on elsewhere. As you discover the smaller puzzles
that make up each story line, you'll find that most will have to be
solved in a certain order. There are always several ways to get something
done - but of course, there is always a best way. Good luck!
Design Notes: Developed by the LucasFan Games, this is a remake of the original Maniac Mansion. Younger gamers may recall having played this game as an easter egg within the Lucas Arts game, The Day of the Tentacle. In the remake, I contribute the Maltese translation, and beta testing efforts. Should you wish to post relevant comments and suggestions, please feel free to do so, but kindly note that the MMD engine does not support Maltese fonts.
