Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure
This is a very cute platform game that I used to play quite a
lot when I was tired of studying. The commands are simple and
easy to use and the gameplay is not hectic, and fairly straight
forward.
The story is simple: tomorrow is Cosmo's birthday, and his parents
are taking him to Disney World! Suddenly a blazing comet slams
into their ship forcingthem to make an emergency landing on an
unchartered planet. While Cosmo's Dad repairs the ship, Cosmo
heads off to explore. Returning an hour later, Cosmo cannot find
his Mum or Dad. Instead, he finds strange foot prints... Oh no!
Has his family been taken away by a hungry alien creature to be
eaten? Cosmo must rescue his parents before it's too late..!

Prince of Persia
Jaffar wants to marry the beautiful Princess, but the Sultan
stands in the way of that happening. Jaffar tells the princess
to marry him, and she refuses so he tells her she must say yes
or she will die within 1 hour. You play the rule of the young
guy trying to save the princess, and little does she know that
you are the one, and that you are already in Jaffars Prisons.
A challenging game, and the 1 hour time limit can be quite hard
to beat, but if you do get there in time, the princess (and the
princehood) is yours!

Rick Dangerous 1 & 2
This is a great little side scroller. Rick Dangerous may remind
you of the Indiana Jones games (Last Crusade, Temple of Doom),
prior to the switch to alternative games types under the Lucasarts
brand, including the excellent Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. Your character runs
around in ruins of an ancient city dodging falling rocks and dart
spitting statues. Rick Dangerous is kind of like Super Mario Brothers
but without the powerups, so if you enjoy platform games or have
played Rick Dangerous before, give it a go.

Zeliard
Zeliard is a difficult game to place. Although it is essentially
a platform game, the strong background theme and slowly evolving
storyline, verges on the ream of role playing games. There are
plenty of dungeons to explore, containing NPCs to talk to and
assist in a variety of subquests. The different shops, will enable
you to repair and upgrade your equipment, which must be taken
good care of, lest you end up fighting an end of level guardian
with your bare hands. Ouch!!
